      Our course is approved by the DPS (course #108) for the concurrent method of Texas parent-taught drivers ed. The program allows parents to teach their teen (14 to 17 years old) to drive.

      Texas PTDE consists of two concurrent areas of instruction: drivers ed coursework and behind-the-wheel training. Our online course provides everything you'll need to successfully complete both parts of Texas parent-taught drivers education. Create an account to get started!

      Take Texas Drivers Ed Online

      Pass the DPS Permit Test

      After you finish the first 6 hours of the online course, you can take the DPS written permit test to earn your learner license (also known as an instruction permit). (You must be 15 years old to take the DPS test.)
