We used Street Safe for behind-the-wheel training for my daughter. It was a very positive experience. She worked with several isntructors and they were all very professional and competent. My younger daughter will be attending the driving camp in June and I am sure will have an equally positive experience.

For alll the money my husband spent for my daughters driving lessons. We are frustrated that she failed twice with Street Safe and once with us. She finally got her license after the 4th time and after having to renew her permit.

After reading all the reviews on google and other sites. Street Safe Driving Academy is writing fake reviews to make them seem like a great driving company.

I've never been driving before so I decided to take a few driving lessons with Street Safe from seeing their cars around the area. The first lesson I told the instructor I was so nervous about driving and wanted to start in a parking lot. He was so annoyed with me after the first 5 mins cause I was grasping the concept of the brake and gas. I told him I wanted to go home and maybe driving was not for me. He insisted that I keep trying but it was so hard having him raise his voice every direction he gave me. Bottom line is I never called them again to set up another lesson and made my confidence even worse.

The instructor that I had a argument at the wawa in Narberth should be taught manners! He laid on his horn because I took what he thought was his parking spot.

Our son needed more confidence with his driving skills before his test so we had him take a session with Street Safe. Joe Hunsicker treated him with great respect and gave him valuable driving tips and exposed him to challenging road conditions so that he would know how to respond if ever put into these situations. Our son wants to have more sessions once he drives on his own a little so that he can learn advanced defensive driving skills for the future. At the end of the session, Joe spoke to us for a few minutes to discuss areas to review while driving. This is the type of driving school that all people should have the opportunity to experience!

Meg Kramer does not know how to run a driving school. This school has too many instructors and they DO NOT keep the same instructor with each student.

The classroom for SS was a very good learning experience for my son. The actual driving lessons behind the wheel was not so much. The instructor made my son a more nervous driver then he already was. I will be going else where for the driving.

This is the best driving school..They have done their research and present an interesting classroom experience so that the kids really do listen and learn! Field trips provide hands on experience and simulators with virtual reality glasses really bring it all home and make it real for these kids. They bring in speakers that are real so that the kids understand they are not immortal. The driving instructors are off duty cops so the kids are safe. Instructors are really nice as well. The kids listen to the driving instructors because they know they are not "bogus"!

This program is unbelievable. My twins loved every instuctor thay had. Both of my boys passed the driver's test on the first try. I recommend Street Safe to every person I know. I can't imagine anybody would ver have anything negative to say about the entire experience from start to finish.

THE BEST!!!!! If you want your child to learn to drive safely, then you need to use this school. This school is absolutely THE BEST school you can find. EVERYONE, from the office to the instructors could not be nicer or more helpful. Their mission is to make sure that our children become safe drivers which is what we want as well. The instructors are outstanding, excellent, professional and safe drivers (not like the one from another school I saw speeding then going through a red light the other day). Evaluations and online written summaries of on road lessons are submitted for parent viewing after each lesson. I always felt as though my son was in good hands with his instructor who was always prompt, actually early, for each lesson. Scheduling lessons was easy by phone or e-mail (even with my last minute changes to pick up or drop off locations quickly accommodated). The tools and simulators that the kids have unlimited access to use to learn to drive safely are wonderful. My son took the classroom portion last fall and got so much out of it. He practiced on their simulators, then when he got his permit, he started the on road lessons. Street Safe (their new name) arranged for his pre-test review, and even arranged for, and took him to, his driver's test which he passed with flying colors (he probably would have been nervous with me taking him). He has been well coached by excellent, outstanding instructors. All of his friends have also used Street Safe and ALL have had outstanding experiences. In reading some of the comments below, it is obvious that the people writing them must be confusing this school with some of the lesser quality ones in the area, because everyone at Street Safe is more than helpful, courteous, going beyond the call of duty and out of their way to make sure that their clients' needs are met. I cannot say enough good things about this school and if you want your child to have the best driver's education experience, and become a safe driver, you should call this school. You will very glad you did.

While Street Safe covered the basics, they lacked in their interpersonal relationships (whether that be on the phone or during the lesson)and failed to meet the needs of their clients. Thus making the process arduous and unpleasant I would recommend looking for other driving school options.

My grandchildren all completed the StreetSafe program. They learned so much, loved the interaction with the police officers and had a lot of fun with the games and activities in the classroom. It was the perfect gift for me to give my grandchildren and I will say it was money well spent. I feel very comfortable having them drive me around town knowing they had excellent training.

I have had 2 children go through the program at Street Smart (now Street Safe) and I can only say wonderful things about the entire program, from the founder Meg Kramer, to the scheduler, the contact people and ALL of the coaches that I have come in contact with. There was never 1 time when a coach did not show up, there was never one time when a coach was not on time. Yes, of course you an have a different coach each time you go out, however, Tiffany Rowles, the scheduler, will work with you each and every time you schedule to get the same coach (if that is what you want). This experience, both times, has been nothing but wonderful. I always felt good whent they were getting their driving lesson, because I know they were getting the best coaching, and experience. They spoke to the kids about their own experiences on the road. I think they are invaluable lessons for our kids. If anyone would ever like to speak to me about this school before enrolling your children, please feel free to do so. Contact the school and they will give you my email address. A very satisfied customer!

This school is bad mouthing many other schools in the area that have taught my child and other friend's children how to drive WELL, SAFELY, PROPERLY. Teachers are excellent instructors, a child does not need a policeman teaching after working long shifts. Local police are not the best drivers thus in the Main Line Times dated April 22, page 4, a police cruiser HIT a man on a bicycle in the Main Line. I am going be spreading the word about this incident and recommending the other local driving school that have been teaching for well more than just 3 years!

it is clear that some of these statements are fabricated to put a negative spin on this driving school. Parents, The truth is, if your child forgets things like turn signals and how not to hit things in the real world, they will cause accidents, be injured, or worst of all killed. Don't risk your child's life or the lives of other motorists on the road by teaching them the wrong ways to drive a car. Teach them the RIGHT way to drive a car. This driving school does just that ... teaches your child the RIGHT way! "It seems to us that this driving school is writing the reviews to make them look good! Trust us they have many more complaints then you know! For example, many of their students fail the drivers test over things like not using turn signals, hitting the barrels at the test site, etc, etc. The so-called COACHES that we've seen driving on their way to pick up students fail to OBEY the rules of the road."

I couldn't have been more pleased with the driving instruction with street smart. She had 8 hours of instruction including the test prep and it made all the difference in her preparedness to pass her test and actually drive independently. Everything from the coordination, communication and the lower merion police officers who taught her were highly professional and outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone and it was worth every cent!

Our son completed his Driver's Education in the classroom and behind the wheel with Street Smart Driving Academy. We were very impressed with the program, their emphasis, and the opportunity for him to learn in a variety of ways. We highly recommend them to anyone concerned about giving their child the best training out there!

My oldest son was taught how to drive by local police officers who not only have a complete knowledge of the rules of the road, but are also familiar with the local roads and intersections my son will be driving on alone once he is licensed. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at Street Smart Driving Academy, and I have already recommended them to quite a few friends. I wouldn't send my other two kids anywhere else once they are old enough to start drivers ed.

Any parent that has the good fortune to engage the services of Meg Kramer and her team of professionals will be rewarded with the knowledge that he or she has offered his or her child the BEST possible option for learning the art of driving and doing it safely. The goal of the academy is to have the student driver fully understand the responsibilities associated with driving and masterfully teaches that student how to execute those responsibilities. After having commissioned the services of another local driving school that ultimately didn't meet the expectations promised, securing the SSDA team was even better than promised, if that is possible. From the entrepreneurial and caring owner, to the friendly office team to the educators, the honorable policemen that instruct the students in the safe A4 Audis, as a parent you know you have addressed your responsibility the best way possible! I strongly urge each family with a child ready to learn to drive to enroll, at a minimum, in the classroom instruction, followed by the behind the wheel instruction and then the Collision Avoidance program or opt for the Premier Package. You can't go wrong and more importantly, neither will your child!

I am the Admin Asst at StreetSmart...I feel I need to write in here. There has never been a Street Smart student named Jay or Shantell...and NONE of our students took the driving test five times! Let me assure those who are serious about drivers education for their children, (as a Mother who put my daughter through the program before I became an employee) there is no greater or more comprehensive driver training out there. Street Smart is a company that has dedicated itself to superior drivers education for our students... to give our kids the safe driving strategies to navigate in the highly complex driving environment on the roads today. This company is dedicated to improving drivers education for students AND the larger community of drivers. And when it comes to our police officers.. there are no more efficient, more professional or more knowledgeable coaches. And I can say this because our parent feedback has consistently reflected perfect scores for our coaches! Please call our offices directly for more information or references. I have a feeling a few of these written below were not written by Street Smart families!

      Mother of Three!

Wow! I am shocked to see so many negative comments. They MUST have the wrong school! My experience with all THREE of my children was exceptional! The police officers were incredibly professional and my kids LOVED them. I found the classroom training they received to be the most comprehensive of any of the schools. No other schools offered field trips and hands on training! And the people who answer their phones were very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I asked my share of questions and at no time did she say anything negative about the other schools I had been looking in to. My experience was excellent and I highly recommend this program to anyone I speak to about drivers education.
