Apply for a Oklahoma State Identification Card at your local DPS
The requirements for obtaining an Oklahoma ID card are similar to the requirements for obtaining an Oklahoma drivers license. You will be required to show both a primary and a secondary form of ID and prove your full legal name and date of birth when applying for an ID card with the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety.
All documents presented must be originals or certified copies distributed by the proper agent. Notarized documents or documents that appear to have been potentially tampered with are not acceptable. A list of acceptable documents can be found on the Oklahoma DPS website.
All materials should be taken to a Driver License examining station where they will be reviewed. You may then take your paperwork to the closest tag agent and pay a card fee. Follow the same process if you are looking to renew your Oklahoma ID card.
