Nevada law requires you to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of any changes in your registration details, including a change of residence. If you change your mailing address, you have 30 days to notify \the DMV of this change.
If you wish to only apply for the sticker for the back of your drivers license, you may fill out a Change of Address Application Form (DLD-22) and either mail it to the address on the form or fax it to (775) 684-4992. The sticker is provided free of charge.
If you choose to apply for a new registration certificate, you will be required to fill out an Application for Duplicate Registration Certificate in addition to the form mentioned above. Please note that there is a $5.00 charge for every new certificate. If you are mailing the application, you must also include payment in the form of check, money order, or a credit card authorization form. Mailing of the certificate takes approximately seven to ten business days.
