Minnesota DPS Change of Residency in Minnesota

Minnesota Change Of Residency Information

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety requires every driver to keep registration details up do date. If you are moving to a new location, you are obligated to notify the DPS within 30 days the address change. You can submit your new address by filling out an application for a new drivers license. There is an $11 fee for every application. When the application is processed and all fees have been paid, your drivers license will be sent to your new address.

The new drivers license form can be picked up at your local MN DPS Office.
