Get everything you need from the DDS here. No line, no wait!
The Georgia Department of Driver Services allows you to make appointments with your local DDS office so that you can save time and avoid long lines. Take into account that some transactions such as address changes and license renewals can be performed online. Other transactions may require you to appear in person.
Right now, the only way you can make an appointment is to call the Center Reservation Line. Agents at the center can schedule appointments at all state locations and will schedule either by location or earliest availability.

Please note that you cannot make an appointment if you are transferring an out-of-state Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
In general, DDS customer service reps are available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays. Although you can’t make DDS appointments online, you can check the status of a future appointment via the Georgia DDS website.
