Teens age 16 years, 90 days, old are eligible to earn a learner's license after having taken drivers ed. Our BMV—the approved course is taken online, making it easy for teens in cities such as Fishers and Carmel to learn the same curriculum as teens in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis.
Once you've finished drivers ed, you'll need to do the following in order to get your license:
Step 1:
Hold a learner's permit for at least 180 days
Step 2:
Complete supervised driving practice, including nighttime driving
Step 3:
Pass the driving skills exam
Step 4:
Pass a vision screening
Step 5:
Submit a supervised driving log signed by a parent or guardian
