Two stars because it really depends on the instructor. If any of you will have Alex as your drivers instructor, your day will turn into living hell for the next who knows how many hours you will survive with him. Being in the car with him feels like you are taking a road test and that's some bullshit. You will only be taking the road test once. You will be driving for probably the majority of your life. We need realistic driving training. This instructor makes you drive 10 under the speed limit. I was driving down Knickerbocker which the speed was 40 and this dickhead wouldn't let me go faster than 20mph. Alvin is the better instructor. He'll actually teach you how to drive and let you drive like how everyday drivers drive. Alex won't even let you leave the town. Alex falls asleep while you are driving. Does he ever consider that it's time to retire ? because that man destroys the reputation of Grace driving school. hes a dickhead.

I went to this school to refresh my skills to drive in the US. Michael was my instructor and he did a very good job. He taught me all what I wanted to learn in the 2 hours with him. There was a bad instructor in the school before who caused all the problems. But he is not there any more. I recommend Michael to all for his great behaviour and knowledge. He taught me for the full 2 hours.

Romy is the owner, and Romy's wife, Grace, runs the company very very very well. I began my driving lessons during winter of 2011. I paid the full price for 6 hours, but I became too busy. I did not respond to Grace's calls for over 6 months. They still called me every 2 weeks and left voicemails to reach me. During the summer of 2012, I began my lessons with Gilberto, and he was very nice. Gilberto has taught driving for Grace Driving School for over 20 years, and the experience is obvious. I thoroughly enjoyed all my lessons with him. After my 6 hours, my mother wanted me to practice more (I was perfectly prepared, but there were not enough cars at home for me to practice with my family), and Gilberto continued to teach me. When I started, I found it hard to believe that Grace Driving School has a 99%+ success rate. Now I know why. Besides taking me to the course to practice before the test, Romy (or another teacher) personally "approves" of each student before the student's test. If the student does not look like he/she will pass, they will tell the student and recommend more practice. I highly recommend Gilberto and Romy. (I'm sure the other teachers are great, but I've only had lessons with Gilberto and Romy.) About the lessons: - EXPERIENCE. I thought parallel parking would be difficult, but everytime we practiced, Gilberto and Romy set up the cones perfectly. It looked EXACTLY like the course. They even had their own tricks to pass the test. They not only know how to drive, but they know how to TEACH. - KNOWLEDGE. They know the best highways to practice on in NJ. (Who knew Palisades Parkway and Rt-17 could test different things?) - DMV FRIENDSHIPS! When I arrived at the DMV to take the test, Romy knew every single instructor, and every single instructor knew Romy. The very fact that the instructors all knew how great Romy's driving school is gave me more confidence. - Finally, most importantly: THEY CARE. My lessons would be only 2 hours, but they would ALWAYS go over at least 30 minutes. Sometimes, my 2 hour lessons would even be 3 hours, and they would only charge me for 2. Also, they picked me up from anywhere and dropped me off anywhere. (Ex. Pick me up from school, drive for 2 hours, drop me off at home) I took my test on December 28th, 2012. I passed with a 100. :)

Don't EVER go to this driving school! They have the most unprofessional, unprepared, inconsiderate, rude, ignorant instructor! My son was not given the 2nd 2-hr appt (after 2 wks) because we needed to let him know when my son was available. When I did call to schedule an appt, AFTER he asked WHEN I WANTED TO MAKE THE APPT, he said he can't do that day and time. WTF?!?! did you ask me for then? DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS DRIVING SCHOOL!

Do not trust this school. Instructors are rude, unprofessional unaware of the process @ DMV.

I'm writing this review to inform and warn all prospective students. Anyone considering this school needs to be wary of the teachers they are paired with. Do not get paired with the owner, Romy. If possible, request another teacher because this man is unprofessional, rude, and ignorant to the point that he can deeply hurt someone's feelings. I'll spare the details, so all I'm going to say is that if you have a visible health problem, this man will treat you with disrespect. If you drive horribly, and obviously MOST of you will as first-timers, he will insult your driving skills. It is NOT acceptable to insult the student and offer little encouragement. A new driver, no matter how good they drive, will always be nervous. Insulting them throughout the lesson is not conducive to the student's confidence. It's a shame that there's no zero star rating.

Very unprofessional. I did not get the same instructor over my lessons with them. They made rude remarks. Their driving lesson are below par. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They are interested in your money than you should get the license. Not a good driving school.
