I have no complaints. My son got what I paid for. He passed the drivers exam and said there was no problem in passing it. The training he received from Christo's was first rate. They scheduled his on road lessons convienant for him and his work schedule. I am satisfied with the service.

      So scammed

Just a heads up.........if you haven't taken the full driving course here, don't bother scheduling your test here.......apparently if they don't get your money for the full course, you will not pass no matter what you do! I took a few lessons from them, instructor said I didn't need more lessons, I was ready..........well tried three times, failed three times........I guess I didn't pay enough money. I drive everyday! Funny how the young kids that went through the full program pass no problem. Although one couldn't parallel park as witnessed by others waiting for their turn, but he passed.....coincidence? I think not! Adults, don't waste your time here!

This is the worst business in Massachusetts. The driving "school" takes your kid to pick up and drop off other kids. If you're lucky you will do a couple maneuvers. Most of the instructors are assholes except for Chris, and they are extremely rude. Do not go here. Please. Save your money and time; find somewhere better to send your children.

Warning: there is a teacher at Christos who took my child on 495 on the second lesson because "she wanted to"...not safe. This same teacher belittled a student in the classroom. I let Christos know, but he is still there. The other teachers are good. Also, the convenient Saturday road test is anything, but convenient! They called two days before the Saturday road test (which we had signed up for a more than a month in advance) and said my child's only option now was to come on Monday. They put it down as a no show, even though I said we couldn't make it then, and when we went to the RMV to take the test we had to pay the fee AGAIN!

Christo's is overpriced so I suggest shopping around. The savings on insurance is not significant. Drivers education can benefit the student even though I never took drivers education and never had any problems after 36 years of driving.

Mr. Christopher Christo was a PERFECT GENTLEMAN to me. A very kind, good man who helped an older lady. The fees were reasonable and the young girls in the office were, always, helpful and good office workers who were very nice to me. As my father used to say, "Go to Christo, he'll teach you how to drive."

Great school in terms of the content that is taught. Passionate driving instructors (most of them) that anyone can get along with easily. However, there are a few major flaws that made me regret doing business with Christo Driving School. The first problem I encountered was that the man that instructs the classroom courses would always ramble about his first few cars and how precious they were, which was very irrelevant and bored the heck out of the students. He was also very grumpy and intimidating. The second problem was that I experienced one horrible on road with an aggressive instructor. He would unnecessarily slam the breaks without any notice and not explain why he had to do that. He also yelled for errors made or mistakes which I found was very inappropriate because drivers education is to teach students how to drive and get behind the wheel experience, not to have short tempered instructors yell at students for making mistakes while LEARNING how to drive for the first few times in their life. Another problem was that the receptionists, most of the time, were a big pain in the neck they were really rude. Trust me when I say this, they were very unprofessional. They were always in a horrible and snappy mood. I never believe the reviews when it read that the receptionists provided poor service, now I UNDERSTAND! Lastly, Christo Driving School is nowhere close to being lenient in terms of fees. There are no discounts even if you pay in full or pay on time. Even if you fail the road test due to crappy on roads. There's a lack of communication with them, sometimes their phone would ring and once the call connected it would stay silent and all you would hear is white noise, and this was even during the office business hours. That was a huge waste of time and I could not get a hold of them even if I waited for a few hours to call back. If you still plan on going to Christo, which I DON NOT RECOMMEND, my advice is to make sure that your on roads are booked close to each other so you don't lose the technique learned, over the time that you don't have another on road for a month or week depending on your situation. Speak up when crappy instructors are giving you a hard time. You will fail if you do not practice constantly, WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU. WATCH OUT. The ONLY deal that they have is that certificate that is good for 5 years that you don’t have to pay if you have another child or relative planning to go through the school which is B.S. The service is poor quality and an unfair deal, I called the office to make a deal with them to cut me some slack since I paid everything in full, on time, and right, but all they did was say no once they heard the word "discount" without hearing me out and hung up the phone before I could say anything else. It sucks because I had that crappy instructor and on my last on road the instructor was a jerk. Horrible experience. I'm not being cheap, I just wanted them to make up for these crappy instructors that distracted from my learning experience and unwise receptionists. THE PRICING: Program fee: $825; includes 30 hours of classroom ($225), 12 hours driving 6 of the hours are observation $50 per session of an on road ($600). Parent class fee: $30 Road test with the school fee: $125: includes certificate fee of $30 If failed the first road test, the second time fee: $95 Additional on road fee: $55 each YIKES! There are better options out there so take your business elsewhere. I’m going to tell all my friends, church members, families, peers about my experience and that I do not recommend this driving school at all. All this information is true, so do not be claiming that any of this is false. If you had a great experience, your were LUCKY.

HI Donna, I had a terrible experience with Christo Driving School staff. I had a Road Test scheduled for my wife for the 11th of June. She is out on international travel starting 20th June till September. Today I get a call from one of your staff saying she cannot give a testing the next availability is 25th June or later. Upon making many requests, I was told that they cannot accommodate her. Then I was asked to call the RMV and see if they can give me any dates. I understand this is not a forum for grievances, but your website has no other options either. Since I see you have responded, I could not stop myself but post here. No options were discussed, like can we give the test in one of other MA locations, or what ever. All I got was "No we cannot help you". I requested if I could talk to Mr Christo, and they said no. We had really good opinion about the school and instructors, but with this experience, it would be really hard to recommend Christo Driving School to anyone I know.

I am one of the owners of a family owned business. I usually do not respond to complaints that are posted on any site, however, most of the complaints that I am reading are false. To address a few, the only understanding that we have with the examiners is that they will administer a fair test. They do. We do not post pricing because of our contracts with private and public schools, however, all prices are explained at registration or via email. Some students did have to wait up to 4-6 weeks for their first driving lesson, but then all lessons were scheduled with consistency. The only ones who complained are those who had their learners permit for 4 months or longer. It is expressed that they should call as soon as they get their LP. It's because we are a family business, we do everything possible to keep our customers satisfied with our service and happy that Christos was their choice for driver education. It's our name on the company and cars, and we take pride in knowing that we are doing a great job. Mr Christo always says, "you give a great service at a fair price and make it right if something goes wrong" This is what our staff in the office does and all of our instructors.

      Not happy with christos

They do not post pricing on their website for a reason... and do not inform you that kids need to wait upwards of 2 months to get driving hours in. We had a very flexible schedule and still they couldn't book for 2 months! Twice I spoke w a woman Christie by phone and she was abrupt and rude both times. It's all family run so you won't get anywhere w complaints. For $400 classroom fee, the instructors were nice but also told kids they would learn once in the car. Not sure that is worth $400. TDA is $99 classroom and $660 driving. You will pay from $850 and above with all fees to Christos.

I have 20 years of license in Brazil, moved to the US and due to law I have to take the road test in order to have the drivers license here. Don't go to Christo Driving School on Saturday for sponsor. Looks like they have agreement with the examiner, because I did everything right and the man said I didn't. When I got inside the wait room, the lady already knew I didn't pass! How? I didn't see any radio or other forms of communication!

Very nice people - why wouldn't they be when they're nickel-and-diming you all the way to bank. Ridiculous charges on top of ridiculous laws that they lobbied for. $800 for driver's ed/driving lessons then you have to pay another $30 for your certificate. Add on $30 for a parent driver's ed class. Plus $100 sponsorship fee and $20 convenience fee if you want to do a Saturday road test thru them.

Driver's Ed classes are $400 if you don't also take driving lessons from them ($800 for both lessons and hte class, $660 for lessons alone), AND they charge an EXTRA $30 for the parent's class. What a rip off. TDA in Ashland is $600 for lessons and $99 for driver's ed (no charge for parents).

I had an appointment with this school for a road lesson. I asked them to pick me up at home and gave them my cell phone number. Apparantly the guy came to my apartments to pick me up and called me once. (claims that he called) I didn't receive even a missed call. They charge me for the class and the instructor calls me and says he does not buzz the door or keep trying my cellphone and he waited outside. so they charged me for a class which i haven't taken or without my mistake. The instructor was very very rude. Ic ancelled all my classes with them after that
