One of Cam's vehicles (MA license# F8232) cut me off this evening, then flipped me "the finger." No turn signals, did Cam teach you that?

you will only get what you are willing to put in it. this means also practicing with your parents what you are taught by the driving school. why do you think the registry wants the 40 hours practice besides the school requirment.

had an amazing experience at Cams. My teacher Anna Sabatino is the most influential and empowering person ive ever met. She was my classroom and driving teacher the whole way and I wouldnt have had it any other way. I had so much fun and I learned a lot. If you wanna go with Cams make sure you go with Anna Sabatino. I got everything done in 5 months and it was easy to schedule

It wasn't as awful as most of the reviews say... Some of the staff are rude but by far the best thing about Cams is ANNA SAB!

I didn't gain anything from my time at Cam's. My classroom teacher, Charlie was really nice and tried to help the students when they asked a question. But as soon as i started my driving and observation hours I never got anything done. i had to sit in the back of the driving car for three hours to catch up on my observation hours because my instructor never let me fill those slots. Charlie was not my driving instructor until my mom called in and told them to switch me. I never learned how to park or drive backwards and i never learned how to parallel park while i was with the school. I would not recommend this school to anyone wanting a decent education in driving.

The instructor for the parent class was interesting and informative, and the behind the wheel instructors were great. We also had a positive experience with the office staff (sorry that I don't have her name!). She was always helpful and was able to offer behind the wheel times that worked for us without too much of a wait. Overall this was a good experience!

Drive with ALEX. He's difficult but one of the funniest and most original people you will ever meet. He may come across as rude but once you get to know him he is one heck of a character. I had so much fun learning to drive from here, but I will concede that the customer service is terrible. ''WAHTEVER!''

I just wanted to say that my experience at cams was an excellent one because i had Anna Sabatino. She always had such a positive, upbeat attitude and made the class more interesting for kids and gave us the info in a way we understood. I was able to get all my driving hours done with her and I feel so confident for the driving test. I got a 96% on my cams written test, and would have gotten a 100% had i read 2 of the questions correctly. I just thought that i'd bring it to your attention that desoite all the negative things i have heard about cams, Anna Sabatino was able to turn it around.

I had heard to many horror stories, so I took my daughter to TRI-Town (Woburn/Billeric) I live in Lexington - best decision I made. While my daughter's friends are having trouble with all aspects of Cam's my daughter is right on target for everything. They care about kids and not just your money. Someone always answer's the phone - they call my before all her driving lessons. They are truly a professional place with the kids best interest at heart.

I learned nothing from Cam's and could never get driving hours. My classroom hours were filled with astrology lessons and war stories. I am late getting my liscense because they never have any driving hours. I actually liked the guy I had for most of my hours a lot, despite the fact that he was very rude. I don't really blame them. they have to be around teenagers almost all day. anyways, don't go to Cam's. You'll end up spending way too much money to learn nothing and never get your liscense.

I just got cut off by a car that had a young driver with no other occupants. His brown car said "Student Driver" on the back with a Can Driving School bumper sticker. This person was aggressive and tailgating drivers through Somerville. Obviously a great advertisement for a Great driving school!

after my son went to the classes, I went there to sign him up for driver road. As I approached the door one of the instructors and another gentlemen were aruging on the sidewalk. Later when the instructor was with a student (teenager) in the car he gave the guy the finger. I'v also heard the instructors stop for food on your time. My son did not learn much. My husband taught him more. I've heard about girl students being hit on by some of the instructors. I will be signing my other son up for Baystae in Watertown.

As a parent and new to the community I called Cams Auto School today at 12:45 to sign my daughter up and gather information so when she gets home from school i can hand her all the information about Cams. during the phone conversation with the receptionist I was distracted with her chewing on the phone. As I continued with our conversation I slowly found out thier were extra fees. The woman quoted

I just went to a competitor to sign up in Newton, and the owner was as rude as can be. I'm going to give them my money?? Nope. Has Cams improved (see earlier years reveiws) re: if you sign up for a class you are in (and not get turned away), and can you get driving time in relatively easy? Some of these reviews really make me hesitate, but may not be true, too. I will give it an average rating until I experience the school, otherwise this won't submit.

The owner is rude, unhelpful and a lousy businessman. Clearly not where my other children will learn to drive. Go elsewhere! The actual driving instructor was helpful yet why have the radio on while actually instructing on the road? One good instructor can not balance out the torture of dealing with the office....

While some of the teachers are fine and this is no fault of theirs, the company is run extremely poorly. First of all, I find the post made by a teacher in this thread, a terrible abuse of this website. This website is designed to aid potential customers in their choices. The teacher then asked "If you can't note anything but ill of your instructors then why write anything at all?" Because this site is designed for people who are willing to submit their opinion. If it weren't for people speaking up, the majority wouldn't be warned. Speaking ill or well of something is the purpose of a review and to make any educated decision you need ones to guide you.

For those of you reading this understand that there are many people with many opinions! I can't help but make a comment on our behalf, for those of you that want a license it's your decision to come to our school, not ours! In my opinion we have one of the best programs out there, if you take the time to check around you'll see. If you can't note anything but ill of your instructors then why write anything at all? I enjoy instructing and helping young people learn a difficult and very serious/important skill, safe motor vehicle transportation. Which should be taken a bit more serious than some believe it should. Unfortunately not all of those who come to Cams are interested in the same! To them, best of luck in your driving careers, you're going to need it...

Some instructors are nice, but its annoying to get to a class almost an hour early to not be able to get in. Ive been closed out of 4 classes in the past month. Today I showed up 35 minutes early and still couldnt get in. Its a complete was of my time to go all the way to Waltham to not get into a class. If you show on time, you should be able to go to class! Don't waste your time..go somewhere were you can sign up ahead of time and be assured you can get in.

You wait outside in one hundred and one degree weather for a hour for a class that you might not get in to. If you do nothing awaits you but substanded, fowl mouth teachers.

Dont go to them One of the worst schools; the instructors don't care and don't teach properly; the lessons are canceled ad hoc.
