The STUDENT will take the Class E Knowledge exams from a Third Party Driver License Testing Service (hereafter known as

The registration fee for this Class E Knowledge exam is $24.95 total (Exam fee is waived for FLVS students). The fee is due before beginning the test. The STUDENT can pay for the course with a credit card, electronic check, or check/money order in the mail.

The exam consists of 50 questions. will enforce a 60-minute time limit to answer all questions. Failure to complete the exam within this time limit will result in that test attempt being marked as expired.

You must receive 80% on the exam to pass the Class E Knowledge Test.

You will be asked personal validation questions (hereafter PVQ) throughout the exam. PVQ are based on information you supplied during registration. Failure to answer these PVQ correctly will result in an expired test. An expired test is equivalent to a test failure. According to Florida law, "Any student or parent or guardian giving false statements regarding the student's testing efforts is committing fraud and subject to license cancellation for a period of one (1) year in accordance with section 322.22 and 322.27(1)(d) F.S."

The DHSMV allows 2 retakes from ANY third-party provider. That means if you have failed an exam with another provider, that failure will count during the exam. If you fail the exam three (3) times, you will be required to take it at a drivers license or tax collectors office.

According to Florida law, "All students are subject to random selection for retesting at the driver license or tax collector office prior to the issuance of any license.
