Kevin is the best! He is so funny and tells you when it is appropriate to speed and when it is not. Mr. Miller He is a wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better instructer than Mr. Wright. He talks really slow sometimes though, but I totally understand him. Mr. Wright Mr. Wright knows his stuff and that's prety reassuring. His attutude needs a flipping tune up.

so i took the class and it was all good the first day until i had mr.wright................donald trump would use the words...YOUR FIRED. and thats what needs to be done.....he repeats everything 500 times and everytime he says something, he tells us its the most important thing you need to kno about driving. We should be able to eat and drink during class as long as we arent making noise on purpose, i mean he does it!!..he tells us to be in the room at a certain time when he is chatting with other people fifteen minutes late. Im so glad i never have to see him again!!!!!...ON THE OTHER HAND..mr.miller is pretty awesome!..he knows how to teach us things that we actually need to kno and allows us to use the restroom when needed and DRINK IN CLASS (as long as its not alcohol he says). He was a great instructor when i was behind the wheel because he gave me great tips and i was than able to apply them. I felt very relaxed in the car and wasnt nervous especially in the weather conditions i was faced with. THEREFORE, ryden was decent except for mr.wright in particular and mr.miller is the tightest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I passed my driving test the first time thanks to Kevin. Yes, he has alot of cones, that's because he sets up the driving test course exactly the way it is at MVA. I had no problems at all with Ryden. Thank you Kevin for being so encouraging and patience.

Mr. Wright: knows everything but is wrong often. Kevin: late both times he picked me up. My friend was dropped off by Kevin early and Kevin picked him up late. Kevin uses too many cones how do all those cones fit in his trunk (must have 25 cones which take forever to set up

Mr. Wright..ugg..hippocite (eats and drinks in front of us but we can not). Knows his stuff but his stuff is often wron g..right wright..lol Kevin..spends more time than I could count setting up cone after cone after cone for the turnabout..Why all the cones Kevin? And by the way..you are a BORE. I thought driving was more than spending most of my time in some school parking lot! And yes he took me to McD's too. Not just JD does this.

The worst class ive ever taken in my life. Mr wright sucks. My behind the wheel driving had to be rescheduled multiple times b/c they dont know how to make schedules correctly.. its not that difficult! My certificate took FOREVER to come! Shitty

The instuctors were professional. I received my certificate within 10 business days after completing the course. I passed the driving test on my first attempt. I would recommend them to anyone.

Firstly, these reviews should not allow for single sentence derogatory comments which I find extremely unprofessional. Secondly, my experience with Ryden Driving Institute was completely satisfactory. The instructors were polite, professional, and courteous. Unfortunately, some of the students in class were disruptive and just wanted to cause trouble with the instructor. I can understand how this behavior would be difficult to handle and feel the instuctor did a fine job presenting the material to us. I have heard horror stories about other driving schools and believe that these negative comments are probably isolated and rare events.

welll i attented Ryden Driving Institute on Nov 12 and the first day i came in there i knew that i was not going to like the teacher MR. Wright he was so smart everything that came out of his mouth was smart. And i think it could of been better because uyou did have to pay $365 dollars that is a lot for some high school kids to be paying. it is not like you are getting your permt or liscense from there you still have to go and pay more money. I think it should of been better. But Mr. paget was a good teacher

Very frustrating dealing with Ryden. My stepson finished his full course in July and still hasn't received his certificate! They kept promising to mail it to him, and after our third call to them they now notify us that he didn't take one of the daily exams (which is odd, since he attended all 10 days - we believe it's an error on their part). Now, 4 months later, he has to (re)take the one exam in order to wait another 10+ days for his certificate. Should not have been this complicated.

I have not had a good experience with this company AT ALL. I believe the organization of this Institude regarding staff members is extremely poor. I have had 3 different instructors in the first week. I am not yet finished with the second one, and we were already told that for the next days, our original instructor, Mr. Wright, would not be present for the rest of the session. I also would like to comment about Mr. Wright, who I agree seems to be a very knowledgeable man, but really seems to take advantage of his authority as an instructor. Mr. Wright believes that students should not be allowed to eat, drink or use their cell phones during class time. I do agree with this policy. However, his phone rings on an average of two times per class. Not only have I and others encountered with this problem, but he pleasently answers, and holds conversations with the person on the other line for quite a few minutes. One will also find him eating, or drinking during class time while we are watching a video, or taking a test. I find this behavior particulary rude, since the rules for the class are applied to EVERYBODY who is involved in it. Lastly, Mr. Wright believes in puctuality, but has not once been able to show up to class on time. Moreover, this man feels that if we show up even 1 second late to the beginning of class, or after our 15 minute break, we should make up the WHOLE day. Maybe I'm wrong, but in my opinion his ideas on discipline are a little extreme. I do not tolerate or respect people who do not have the same level of morality towards me. And although i am a student, the rules of the classroom do not change for the teacher. Ryden Driving Institude should evaluate over these topics that I have just mentioned above, and understand that people like me are not paying for poor organization and treatment from staff members. As of now, I believe our school did not make a good choice when choosing Ryden Driving Institue.

The experience that I have had with Ryden Driving Institute has not been a good one. There have been many problems with the class. 1.) Three different classroom instructors including - Mr. Wrong... er right. Mr. Brown Mr. Miller. I have had several problems with Mr. Right, as he does not allow his students to drink even WATER in his classroom. His reasoning "It's distracting to other students." 2.) they have all been late at least TWICE. -Mr.Wright has kept us 20 minutes PAST the alloted time, and he was 30 minutes late that day, then blames it on us. 3.) I have completed the class, passing all quizes and tests, and it has been 15 days since I completed the driving time with my driving instructor, and I have YET to recieve my cerficate. Pros - I had one good driving instructor, Kevin i believe his name was, who was extremely knowledgable in his driving technique. I had the unfortunate experience of Driving with TB, (also known as mumbles.) who would never help me with my driving, and stopped at McDonalds... twice. I would never let my children attend Ryden Driving institute. Ever. Thank you for reading my review.

My first and last encounter with this agency. I recommend Arrive Alive. My son used that service and they were very professional and on time. This is Ryden's 2 out of 3 no show's for my daughter's drive time. I find this unacceptable.There is no one to contact during the weekend and they do not contact us to inform us regarding any mix-ups. Spend your money elsewhere.

Horrible experience!! They are not organized at all! The office first lost a check I sent them for a missed lesson, and then they never mailed me my certificate for passing the class. They said it would be ten days, and it is going on a month now. It was very fustrating. Also, the instructor mixed up my driving days and came to my house two days before I was schedualed, and was late at that. He mumbled alot and barely helped me improve on my driving. I asked him to help my parking, and he did, as he had me pull into McDonalds ONCE so he could get a hamburger. I had one very very helpful instructor, unfortunatly I can't remember his name. But he was the only one that I felt helpful. Lastly, the secretary who answers the phone all the time has barely been helpful. My mom has argued with her several times. If you are in the area, go to Blue Bird or some other place. I strongly encourage you NOT to go here

Mr. Wright was a grest instructor and I learned a lot from him. Anyone who gets him should feel blessed to have such an intelligent man teaching them things that can save their lives

The instructors have been late almost everyday. Two days over 1.5 hours late!! My son has had 3 different teachers for a two week class. I called the company and was assured that the owner would personally call me. Never got the call and no apology when questioning the teacher about his tardiness. The main instructor tells them to pay attention and not have cell phones on -yet he takes personal calls during class everyday. He made them sign a contract about being on time, have good beahvior in class, no cell phone use, being responsible,etc. or they will not get credit. He has not lived up to his side of the contract, boasts of how great a teacher he is and has been over 25+ years,,, but basically has been a very poor example of a teacher and has given my son a very bad beginning to his driving experience. I will never use this company again and will be complaining in writing to the school system .

Ha I took Driver's Ed here 3 years ago from 6 pm - 9 pm during the summer, some of the teachers were boring during the first week but then the 2nd week we actually started learning stuff

As parent, the instructors were good to excellent. However, the business support staff were exceptionally poor. My daughter called to get her certicate of completion in order to take her driver's test and the even after I called the administrative staff person refused to provide her with a certificate that day. She cited their policy/goal to mail out the certificate in 10 days after the last class. My daughter's last class was 10 days ago, and the woman indicated that she wouldn't look for my daughter's paperwork ahead of others who completed the class before she did.

Mr. Wright is a knowledgeable instructor! The only way a child would get negative learning if they are there just because they want to get a license. In that case they are dumb stupid idiots! Also, the driving instructors vary. Kevin is a great driving instructor and he has a great car. Some others are rude at times but they are worth it. I would recommend this driving school to anyone who will actually commit themselves to learning rather than doing the time just for the license!

My son attended this school in April. The classroom instructor was very knowlegable. The driving instructors were prompt and offered helpful comments.

I have attended this driving school and I feel as if its a poor commission to enter into it. When first entering the service was rude but immediately to get tha CASH! This is my second time having to practice parallell which is extra money when I shouldve already received. As far as the english it was uh and the class was boring. The person that picked me up and practice trying to help me always had me stopping to get him sum food. Now what kind of mess is that? But pleeze if you wish to start here or have your child start here think twice!! They need some help and the instructors shows up late!

I have been calling to schedule my appointment with my instructor, only to be frusrated and nothing has been done. I am going on three months!!!
