Every driver moving to a new address is required to update his or her record at the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles. Your DMV record can be updated by visiting the county motor vehicles office for your area and submitting a written statement. You must submit the statement within 30 days of change.  You can download the Change of Address Form and bring this with you when you go into the DMV to make the change.
