The Department of Motor Vehicles keeps contact information for every registered driver. It is the driver's responsibility to keep the record up to date. If you are moving to a new location, you must notify the DMV of your address change. You can do so by filling out a change of address form and mailing it to the address provided on the form. You must update your record within ten days of the change.
